What is ceremony and why is it important? 
Ceremony is taking time out to create space and intention for healing and spiritual growth.. Ceremony aligns us to a deeper connection with self, Spirit, Creator, the Universe and whomever we deem to be our spiritual entity. We create Ceremony to connect with the elements of nature, mother earth, grandmother moon, father sun and our ancestors that came before us. In doing so we deepen our own sense of self and purpose. 
 
We can release and heal our wounds and open our hearts to receive joy and love. Ceremony can be as simple as sitting in silence with a lit candle, focusing on your breath and giving thanks and asking for guidance or clarity. Powerful change can occur when we sit in circle with others - co-creating ceremony connects us to group consciousness and leads us into a deeper journey.

Sacred Cacao has been used throughout the ages in ritual and ceremony to connect to one's higher self, inner self and the wisdom of our ancestors. I use Ceremonial Grade Cacao in my healing and Ceremony work and take my clients on deep healing journeys back to self & soul. Ceremonial Grade Cacao is hand processed and the entire bean is used, keeping all that yummy goodness inside. Cacao quite simply heals. It is high in antioxidants and flavonoids, iron, calcium all the feel good hormones and acts as a tool to open the heart and bring joy to the body & mind. 
Deep within the Amazonian Region of Peru grows this sacred single origin cacao bean in its wild habitat. Untouched by man, with no interference of chemicals or pesticides.

Each block is lovingly infused with Reiki energy through a deep ceremony. Ceremonial cacao is an ancient revered plant known for opening and connecting deep into the heart space and with the divine.
 
Ceremonial cacao recipe – multiply per person 
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons per person in ceremony (strong) or 1-2 hearts per person
(I use only 1 tablespoon per person at home or 1 heart serves me for two servings.)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon  (optional)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil.  (optional)
Dash of favourite milk (optional) (you may choose to use less boiling water and more milk)
Vanilla Essence (optional)
1-2 teaspoon of honey or golden syrup.  (optional)
(I leave out the honey at home)
Method: 
Prepare in saucepan over stove stirring or in heat proof food processor. 
It also works with boiling water from the kettle in a cup but the ingredients will remain separated. 
 
Daily Self-Care Ritual: 
Whilst preparing and making this Sacred Cacao drink, tune into the earth and be grateful to nature for providing us with such powerful healing medicine. 
Stay present whilst you make the drink. 
Then graciously sip the drink with kind self-thoughts and affirmations whilst planning (manifesting) your day. 
 
You may like to play relaxing music or light a candle or incense.
I repeat this around 3pm as a self-honouring practice and a little pick me up. 
 
It really allows me to be more in touch with my emotions and supports the dissolving of blocked energy. 
And clears my mind and helps to stay focused and prevent procrastination.
